Advent Children
Advent Children is the greatest movie ever; just don't watch it in English. Sephiroth does not sound evil. He sounds like he is mildly annoyed... that’s something not cool in a villain with the power to destroy the world.

The Dark and Mysterious
The Dark and Mysterious... as a writer I cannot help but feel inspired by the deepest voice in my heart. It has no name but when it speaks I cannot resist. Does it matter what I write about? Sometimes.Does it matter what other pain lurks in my heart? No.It simply is, even as a child I was fascinated by ideas and words. To me the act and process of writing is nearly mystical and deeply spiritual. Called forth like an invisible avatar I seek only to take letters and words and form them into something deeper and more meaningful.
But in the end... it's just letters right?
But in the end... it's just letters right?

Lonely Around People
Have you ever be betrayed by someone you love? Hurt so deeply that it festers in the depths of your soul? No pain can compare to that; even the free flow of blood and tears. In a room of people I feel alone now; my closest friend is like my worst enemy.
When I feel this way I can't do anything. My writing is weak, concentration scattered and heart heavy. Do I give up and spiral into despair or fight for a chance of redemption? Alone a man has no power, but give him love and friendship and he can accomplish anything. That’s what I used to think anyway. I don't want to love or trust anyone again so I must have no power.

The Mundane
It's too easy for people to be mired in life, for every important thing in your life three mundane things exist to distract you from it. Do the mundane and the average take importance over the unique and exceptional? Or could it be the reverse?
Watch the movie Rent, They sing about how many moments are in a year. You spent the majority of those moments working, studying, driving or doing something else you don't enjoy (or marginally enjoy) for a few moments of pleasure each day. It is in this that life is especially cruel. We are each allotted a certain amount of time in life and no idea how much that is. I could spent 8 years in school to be a doctor and be struck dead the day I finish. Sounds pretty fair eh?
On the flip side if you waste your life chasing short term happiness and live to be an old man. What did you accomplish? Can you tell your grandchild stories about the battles you've fought or the things you've done? Will your children respect you? It is in balance that all things are meant to be. The mundane can be enjoyed. Cooking is a lot of fun; Driving is a lot of fun. Don't let them become mundane or you'll waste your life being unhappy.
